SHOT PEENING EQUIPMENT

It is thanks to the production of shot peening machines that it has been possible to speed up and standardise one of the most time-consuming and laborious processes in metal surface treatment.

Shot Peening

The shot peening process is based on the effect of a jet of glass or metal microspheres that are projected onto the surface to be hardened or modelled. By dosing the treatment time, the pressure applied and the type of abrasive, different results are obtained depending on the material and the objective to be achieved. Finimac, based in Vittuone, in the province of Milan, offers its customers different models according to their needs, guaranteeing high durability and versatility in use.

Manual and automatic machines

Shot-peening machine can therefore be manual, with three working positions or equipped with internal and external rollers, or automatic; there is also a small bench version with a vacuum system. All models provide for the recovery and regeneration of the abrasive material, and special models are available for the treatment of large dies. The company also designs and produces shot blasting machines, metal blasting machines and sandblasting systems for the national and European markets. It is possible to view all available models and their different uses.
